To use ScanDroid, your device must have a built-in camera (and permission to use it). Internet access is only needed when you want to perform additional actions, such as downloading product information or using navigation. Other permissions, like "Wi-Fi access," are only needed for specific actions (e.g., if you want to connect to the Wi-Fi network you just scanned).
